We Pray for You! We Love You! We Care for You! We Hurt for You! We Honor You! And We Know You Have a Special Place in Heaven! Jesus is Watching!!
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’
sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:10-12) NKJV
There are churches and individuals across the world, who diligently lift you up in prayer and know that the Creator of the universe is hearing and honoring prayers lifted up on your behalf. We only have to look at the “I Commit to Pray” site and see thousands of people from around the world praying for you by name and by situation. For those whose names we do not know, God knows who and where you are. Praise God for He is good in all situations. Whether we are on the mountain top and we are in the valley, He is still the same God.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) NKJV
Maybe those of us who sit in comfortable surroundings with no immediate threat of persecution are actually most in need of prayers from our persecuted brothers and sisters. Maybe we are so comfortable that we need a faith check. Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, who have endured seeing their churches and homes destroyed, been put in prison, been harassed, threatened, tortured, tormented, beaten, abused, raped, and or killed for their steadfast belief in Christ are truly the present day heroes of the faith! Our faith has not been so tested as of yet. That testing may come soon, or it may come later but we know it is coming. Christians everywhere around the world, are we ready? Is our courage strong enough? Is our faith deep enough? I cry out to our Lord Jesus that we show the same courage and steadfast faith as our brothers and sisters, who have and are now enduring persecution! Help us all Lord Jesus. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we were killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35-39)
Let’s give Him the Glory!
